- (Manchester 1875) evidently picked up 2nd hand. It does not show up in
Manchester records. However, Manchester records do show an 0-4-0 built
9/75 for Peoria, Pekin, & Jacksonville. #3 named "The Team" construction
number 729, which could possibly be the engine that later became M&StL #4.
this is the only one shown in the Manchester records around 1875 that
appears to fit.
